Marble renovation is a family run business, owned and run by father and son, Andrew & David Smith. Andrew has been in the marble cleaning business for over 40 years, starting his marble restoration business while living in Spain in the 1970’s. David started working with his father from the late 1990’s until now. Both Andrew and David are passionate about marble restoration and have become highly skilled over the years when it comes to understanding how to restore worn marble floors.

As you can see from the image, Viakal can easily burn and stain marble tiles, as it contains very powerful chemicals used for limescale removal. To remove Viakal stains, you need to grind back the surface with diamond abrasives

How to remove Viakal stain
from marble tiles in shower or bathroom

Viakal is one of the worst products you can use to remove limescale from marble tiles. As you can see in the image, Viakal burns marble and leaves a horrible stain. To remove this viakal marble stain, we would need to use diamonds to sand the wall back to remove the viakal stain and then rehoone and polish to bring back the marble to life. As you can see in the image, the shower looks new after restoration

As you can see from the image, a metal plate that was holding a plant pot left a horrible rust stain on the marble. This is one of the harder stains to remove because the rust usually penetrates deep into the marble. If that´s the case, the stain is very difficult to remove 100%. Heavy grinding with diamond pads is required to remove the rust stain completely. As you can see from the before and after photo, the rust stain was completely removed.

As you can see in the image, once the carpet was removed, the stairs were covered in glue all over. it took quite a lot of elbow grease to remove all the adhesive and restore the terrazzo stairs to look good as new, as you can see in the image here.
